Hello,

Hopefully this finds you and your family doing great while staying healthy and safe!

We would like to start off by recognizing our student-athletes that have been with us every weekday since mid-March/April 2020. We have a few that have made almost as many days and workouts as Coach Haynes. Which is awesome because he’s at all of them. The improvements and results these athletes have seen and told us about are great, and now they know that hard work pays off, but nothing pays off like daily hard work with a trusted Championship Coach there with you the whole way! We can see the improvement in all of our athletes’ numbers, athletic ability, and mental approach to the game (whatever game you participate in; we have basketball, track, football, baseball, volleyball, soccer, and athletes who don’t play sports participating in the daily classes and showing improvements on and of the court/field)! If you have not been working out daily, it’s never to late to start racking up your hours, and having your school Coach know you are getting in high quality work from trusted professionals! Start today!

We don’t do this enough, mainly because he refuses to allow us to, but we really can’t go any further without thanking Coach Nate Haynes III for his continued daily dedication to the development of student-athletes everywhere physically, mentally, and emotionally! Especially during these times! He has held multiple classes every weekday with our partner IMhomePE.com since mid-March/April, and continues to add priceless value to their program, just as he has with ours! More importantly, he has mentored and consulted student-athletes, parents, coaches, and so many more during a time of uncertainty. That’s why we love having him on our staff, he has put PSO Athletics in a position to have more experience to fall back on when times are uncertain, and that is priceless! Thank you Coach Haynes!

Some concerns and questions from athletes, parents, and more...
Now, with the current state of the world we have heard many concerns and questions from athletes, parents, and more. Here are some of them and our solutions: Before answering these question we must first state that we recognize everyone’s right to choose what works best for them and their families, and we do not pass judgement on any decision made by anyone, especially when it comes to the wellbeing and safety of their family. With that being said here are some of their questions and our responses…

  • “Will there be a 20-21 school season?”
    • ***UPDATE 2020/10/1***
Our sources say schools will have a ’20-’21 school season. We will keep you updated as we find out more information. Please read below for more about our solution to this question…
    • ***UPDATE 2020/9/1***
Our sources say schools are preparing for the ’20-’21 school seasons to go on. We will keep you updated as we find out more information. Please read below for more about our solution to this question…
    • There hasn’t been a finalized answer either way yet. We have active school coaches on our staff, and contacts in governing athletic and academic bodies that will inform us as decisions are made. As always we will let you know as soon as we know a solid decision. With that being said, our mindset is to always be ready and control what we can. Which is why when the school season begins, whenever that is, our student-athletes will be more than ready and ahead of everyone else. We achieve this with daily workouts that you can do anywhere while having a trusted coach with you the whole time, and your school coach will receive information on your workout so they can know what you do and how often you do it! Also remember our program is designed by UIL State & District Championship Coaches that are trusted by, know, and communicate with school coaches. Plus our program mentors, guides, and keeps student-athletes safe during these times, healthy always, and gives them the physical, mental, and emotional tools they need to succeed in life not just sports!
  • “We want to social distance, but we don’t want our child to fall behind if they aren’t playing while others are. What do we do?”
    • Our program is the perfect solution, and it all has to do with our staff! We have coaches that have developed a program that keeps its participants ready and always improving more. The same coaches that developed our program have had success and awesome results like thousands of student-athletes being productive no matter the field they ended up in after athletics, a UIL State Championship, and UIL District Championships while only seeing their athletes less than half the time as regular coaches because of working on multiple campuses, which is why our program is perfect for this situation. Because of our staff, we are able to recognize what areas individual student athletes need to improve in and we are able to get them the results they want to see efficiently, not wasting any time!
  • “When will PSO Athletics return to in-person events?”
    • ***UPDATE 2020/12/1***
We will start to hold Private Coaching in January. We will also be looking at opening our in-person Academy sessions in February/March. We will keep you updated as we find out more information. Please read below for more about our solution to this question…
    • ***UPDATE 2020/7/1***
The NBA will compete in a bubble from July 22nd- October 13th. Note they will be in a bubble/closed/contained environment. Unfortunately amatuers aren’t afforded the luxury of closing themselves off from everyone else for 4 months, yet. So we will continue with our plan until information changes. We are excited to see some sports though, and hopefully this is a step in the direction to us resuming in-person activities! We will keep you updated as we find out more information. Please read below for more about our solution to this question…
    • Before answering this question we must first state that we recognize everyone’s right to choose what works best for them and their families, and we do not pass judgement on any decision made by anyone, especially when it comes to the wellbeing and safety of their family. With that being said, we will remain in a suspended state until we feel the safety and wellbeing of our student-athletes, their families, and our staff are not in jeopardy of keeping them away from the sport when competitions continue as a whole. We prepare our student-athletes for School Athletics, Collegiate Athletics, and Professional Athletics, none of which have fully committed to holding their upcoming seasons.
  • “Why doesn’t PSO Athletics continue to do in-person events, everyone else is?”
    • Again, we must first state that we recognize everyone’s right to choose what works best for them and their families, and we do not pass judgement on any decision made by anyone, especially when it comes to the wellbeing and safety of their family. With that being said, we rely on the experience of our staff to guide us through these times. Our staff includes professionals from the medical, sports, and academic fields that reach back generations, 5 or more to be exact! Because of this we have seen years of experience that keeps us from making decisions that others may make during these times. Our outlook differs from others because we have been around longer and have more opportunities to pull experience from. Our experience tells us that distancing ourselves while maintaining physical, mental, and emotional strength is most important right now during these uncertain times so when it is safe to return to action you will be more than ready, and able, to participate. Again our staff is the most qualified to provide you with what you need to stay ahead during a time where everyone is worried about falling behind.

So with lots of thought, research, debate, and so much more our staff has come up with the following:

Our Plan To Return To The Court...

Our Plan To Return To The Court

Our staff has prepared a plan of action to return to the court using CDC guidelines and information, medical experts that work with our staff, and from our own staff that has extensive experience, knowledge, and success in the field. Our Athletes’ safety and health is our TOP priority! It is followed by the safety and health of our Athletes’ families, our staff and their families, and the communities and partners we have lived with and worked with for generations! Taking into consideration our priorities, the facts that have been released by the medical experts, and our generations of experience in school athletics, school systems, sports/exercise science, and the education field, we have come up with the following plan of action to return to the court responsibly while keeping our Student-Athletes ahead of the competition:

  • Step I
    • Unlimited access to our student-athlete development program
      • that teaches our proven system and has been successful for generations! It includes daily live and on demand online classes that are led, developed, and curated by our staff to give athletes an advantage of being ready mentally, physically, and emotionally all the time! Again, this program has been successful and trusted by HS – Professional Coaches for generations!
    • Unlimited access to a personal coach while you work out during gym hours
      • so you have a highly qualified staff and coach with you for suggestions and to answer questions whenever you are working out
  • Step II
    • Private Coaching (no contact, bring your own ball/equipment)
    • Outside group workouts (no contact, bring your own ball/equipment)
    • School groups that already participate indoors can workout indoors following the same guidelines as their school district athletic department has set. PSO holds the right to include further precautions/protocols to the district athletic department’s protocols.
  • Step III
    • Private Coaching (contact, bring your own ball/equipment)
    • Outside group workouts (contact, shared equipment)
    • 1 -2 Tournament
    • School groups that already participate indoors can workout indoors following the same guidelines as their school district athletic department has set. PSO holds the right to include further precautions/protocols to the district athletic department’s protocols.
  • Step IV
    • Private Coaching
    • Indoor workouts
    • Tournaments, Leagues, Camps, etc.
Our In-Person Protocols...

We follow these protocols during all in-person activities as well as the UIL COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Guidelines which are stated and updated here, uiltexas.org/policy/covid-19/2020-2021-uil-covid-19-risk-mitigation-guidelines :

WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT AND UNDERSTANDING DURING THESE TIMES! OUR HEARTS & THOUGHTS GO OUT TO THOSE THAT HAVE LOST FAMILY AND TO THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN IMPACTED! WE WILL CONTINUE TO PREPARE OUR STUDENT-ATHLETES DESPITE THE CHALLENGES WE ALL ARE FACING! IT IS DURING THESE TIMES WHEN OUR SERVICES ARE NEEDED MORE THAN ANY, AND WE ARE HERE FOR YOU! THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPPORT! WE HOPE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY STAY SAFE & HEALTHY!
