Its shocking to me that this is discontinued. The taste is much better, crispier and spicier then lemons. Versace is an excentric and a bit tacky designer brand. Notes I really like that were able to mellow out any sharpness. After two wears, though, I get a soft floral with a shampoo-y or lotion-y vibe and not much else. To me it's completely unisex. I had this on my want list because I loved the notes and luckily found it on sale. This opened beautifully with sharp, bright, tangy, refreshing, mood-lifting citrus, and I thought, just for an instant, that I might have finally found "the one" (at least as regards a wearable spring/summer fragrance, that is). I think this fragrance reads very soft, but lingers longer than a person imagines. That's the issue I have with a lot of Versace scents: they smell like scented chemicals to me; some are very nice, but chemicals nonetheless. I do think this would be a great scent on a man. With so many rave reviews for Versace Versense, I set my doubts to one side and decided to don this perfume today despite the hot weather and despite the designer, Alberto Morillas, with whom I do not always see eye to eye (or sniff nostril to nostril!). Older version was distinctively woody, borderline unisex. When it dries down, it gets a little bit warmer. This fragrance dries down to a creamy, sweet pear, or maybe it is fig - Im not quite sure here, and lasts all day on my skin. The scent was just lovely at this point, softly green, delicately musky, and with a sandalwood base. Its composition opens with fruit of the Mediterranean: bergamot and green mandarin, and wraps you with freshness and luminous, optimistic accords with irresistible fig zests. I'd own every scent in the dang world if I could because I seem to find something I like about every scent I come into contact with, but THIS is a breath of fresh air quite literally. This to me smells like cucumber lemon water with slight sweetness. 
This perfume is something special. Its uplifting and energizing. Blind buy due to a discount price, but if I was hoping for something similar to the green of Gucci Envy, I was disappointed. Apparently, he wasn't wearing cologne and it was the young lady wearing it. Nice citrus, wood and florals. Chance by Channel on the other hand ( the green one) is a bit masculine.. Fresh and zesty, although I wouldn't classify the zestyness here particularly citrusy. The tart citrus also lasts surprisingly long on me, before becoming a little more airy sweet floral, then finally a light woodsy. Poor sillage and longevity. It is bordering on the kitchen cleaner synthetic lemon smell though. Pleasure will rise with sparks of citruses mixed with fruity aromas. This fragrance is a very easy reach. One night I was at work bartending, and there was a cute couple getting drinks at the bar, and as soon as they sat down, I got the most fresh and zesty scent to my nose! Thankfully and surprisingly there's nothing screechy, harsh, or sharply synthetic in this, to my nose at least. Immediately, you catch a very strong and energetic citrusy scent that lasts for quite some time. The florals are light but sill detectible which is great because it's not an in your face floral like her older sister Versace Signature. Received this today expecting a fresh Green citrus instead i was transported back to Gucci Envy! It's totally spring/summer scent. It opens bright and citrussy fresh, dries down to a cedar musk scent with a hint of sandalwood. Semi sweet, fresh, woody citrus. They even refer to themselves as fairies! It is my best citrus perfume. I also get a vibe of Tea, which also smell pretty nice and relaxing. Imagine Crystal Noir stripped of gardenia, amber and ginger- Keep everything else but tone down the spices. Although I don't think it is similar to Chance Eau Fraiche I like to use it as its counterpart in summer. I have a small 5 mL bottle, but I dont think I will get a full bottle because I have Light Blue. Its one of my signatures. They're roughly the same cost so I will stick to my Valentino. Water, refreshing water everywhere. Not just a clean smell scent. Ya know, I like this. Airy, cheerful, confident, fresh. I can feel fig and pear a lot. Green and in your face but not in a way that chokes you out. Love to wear it at the gym. This is definitely worth testing if you like green scents. I absolutely love this. Crisp and clean scent. Very clean, light and happy. It opens with sharp, acidic citruses which stay throughout its life. This is well made and initially reminds me of a higher end Be Delicious or Adidas Pure Lightness (which I love). Last pretty good though and thats rare in freshies. Maybe Versense will be it, I don't know it for sure, but I can sense the flowers here, though quiet silent and gentle.

It smells like crisp lime, with a tiny hint of fresh sweetness and a light bitter smell all in one. After years of almost blind buying this, I finally was sent a mini. Its a bit sharp the first few minutes, but that softens quickly. I suppose I will start with the bright and cheery top notes, which protract light through the dome-like, beading drops of citrus oils, wrung gently from rind. It is a pleasant and uplifting zesty goodness in the opening with understated floral and woody notes in the dry down. I think I know why Versace discontinued this one. I. notes. The bottle is beaituful, so classy and pleasant. I can smell the cardamom though, which isn't overpowering, and I enjoy this element too. Verse se is a bit fruitier in the brief opening- think its the pear. Great juice, very clean,long lasting and compliments getter. The fig and cedar notes make it transform into something completely different. You can smell the lightly floral note with the slightest hint of fruit in it. I also think skin chemistry plays a role in this one because my skin turns everything sweet. Goshh this is one of my favorite women's fragrances. also, this is worth the money. Always reach for it during summer/spring. Here on the perfume profile people have suggested it reminds them of Chance Eau Fraiche by Chanel: I have to politely disagree. I don't usually love Versace's fragrance DNA, but this DNA with these notes works. i would just prefer not to smell myself as an old woman and sneeze all day. But, something bitter like this is dreamy on me. There are no powdery tones here at all and I appreciate that, in my opinion it could be unisex despite the floral notes because it is just so CLEAN. Anyone who likes fresh scents will probably like it. Fragrantica Trends is a relative value that shows the interest of Fragrantica members in this fragrance over time. I usually do better with bergamot with its floral nuances than orange/lemon (which strike me as household cleaner) so this was promising offering, but unfortunately it's a little too in the same vein of Light Blue for my preferences. I know a lot of reviews say this is too sour and acidic but that's what I love about it. This amazing juice is uplifting, bright, crisp, clean, calming and sensuous. It was unique I thought. Easy to wear casual scent. It's my favorite from Versace and one I wear in spring and summer. I love citruses and figs but there is too much of them in here. To further carry the feel of the virginal Mediterranean, and so befittingly contained within the heart of the composition, tender Jasmine notes begin their enchantment. Can definitely see this as a crowd pleaser, safe for office. I absolutely adore this perfume, and will continue to purchase it even though it's been discontinued(?) The longevity of this is amazing & during the day was smelling this on myself quite noticeably for hours.
